When we cut a kitchen out of a full slab, good stone is left over. It is too small for a kitchen and far too good to throw away. If your project is a vanity, a bar, a laundry counter or a hearth, this is the cheapest way to get real stone in your house.
Nothing on the board fits that right now. Call the shop, the pile changes constantly and not everything makes it online.
A remnant board is only worth having if it is honest. This is built so keeping it current takes about ten minutes a week:
A dated "updated this week" line at the top does more for trust than a hundred stock photographs. If a piece is gone, say it is gone.
Almost always. A standard single vanity is around 25 inches deep and 30 to 60 inches wide, and most of our offcuts clear that easily. Bring the measurement and we will hold it up against the piece.
Sometimes, if both came off the same slab. Matching across two different slabs of natural stone is not realistic, and any shop that promises it is guessing.
Usually comparable on material and better on result, because it is cut to your room instead of to a standard size, and the edge is finished the way you want it.
Remnants move. We do not hold pieces indefinitely, and the board changes week to week. If you see one you want, call the shop.
