Redwood City · Family-run since 1964
Granite, marble, quartzite and quartz, chosen in our yard on Flood Avenue and cut by the same family that has run the saw for three generations.
The terrazzo on the right is poured from chips of the stones we cut. Move your cursor through it — and remix it as often as you like.
What we make
Templated in your home, cut in our shop, set by the same crew. Nothing is sent out.
The stone
Fourteen stones we cut, each with an honest note on what it needs from you. The chips below are rendered from the real stone’s character; the slabs are in the yard.
Every stone, explainedOffcuts
What is left after a kitchen is cut is exactly the right size for a vanity, a bar or a hearth — sold by the piece, at a fraction of a slab.

How it goes
We give you dates when you book.
Walk the A-frames and pick the slab or remnant you like. Bring a photo of the room. No appointment needed during shop hours.
We measure the cabinets, walls and corners precisely and agree the sink cut-out, seams and edge with you.
Your slab is cut, the edge is shaped and the cut-outs are bored in our own shop — nothing is sent out.
Old top out, new top in, seams joined, everything sealed. Most kitchens are done in a day.
Hired by
Commercial counters and bar tops on the Peninsula, alongside the residential work.
The shop
No appointment needed during shop hours. Bring a photo of the room and a tape measure; we supply the lemons for the etch test.
Send measurements and a photo, or walk the yard during shop hours and pick your slab in person.
